Subject: Franchise termination letter
Dear Andrew
I am writing this letter to inform that the management of our company has decided to terminate the franchise allocation to your retail store chain. It has being observed that the sales from your allotted franchise for the last five years has being very poor. The growth rate has remained in the negative zone for the last couple of years. As a result it had become financially unsustainable for us to bear the high cost of running the franchise.
Our company is recently on a restructuring drive because of the economic slowdown and is losing all its business operations which have become defunct and loss making franchise .We feel that lack of demand indicates that people residing around the location of your franchise is no longer interested in our product range. We are therefore trying to launch our products in new emerging markets of our country.
I would like to thank you for being our business partner for such along time. Hope that you will cooperate with our decision.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus Trump
